About

Thanks for stopping by my small, peaceful corner of the web.

Descended from a long line of domestically gifted women, it is no surprise that I am a compulsive maker.  I grew up in a home where home-cooked meals were served on hand-embroidered linens; where fancy clothes came from the sewing machine, not the strip mall; where growing things was part of life, not part of a movement; where hands at leisure were hands lovingly employed.

In short…handwork is my heritage.

My current passion is making quilted home furnishings.  I love intricate patchwork.  I enjoy the challenge of using unlikely fabric combinations to create unified, harmonious pieces.  I hope my work is fine enough to find a place in your home or as a gift for someone special.

Blessings!
